Charter is now selling a lower speed package to compete with Clearwire and Qwest DSL. The speed is 1MB, which is faster and cheaper than the lowest Clearwire package. This is no contract, $19.99 per month package.

Its a great price for most people looking for basic internet surfing. 20 times faster than Dial-Up, and very reliable.
